This painting was inspired by a combination of nature, skyscapes and emotion. Having created soft paintings of tranquil scenes, abstracted down to shape and colour, this piece came from a more chaotic place, keeping the pale colours of a morning sunrise, I focused on allowing the palette knife to tell the story of great movement in nature.
