I’ve had this Oil Paint palette for over ten yea

I’ve had this Oil Paint palette for over ten years 🙈😱
I decommissioned this due to the weight of it which is just ridic! There is about an inch thick of pain covering most of the palette and during paint sessions I would just throw paint tubes on the palette that were done and never move them 😂

Frank Auerbach eat your heart out! Pretty sure some of the oil paint is still wet under the layers! How satisfying it would be to peel it off 😱

I daren’t peel it off because it is so satisfying to look at as it is! How many paintings were created with this palette?! I could not tell you! Too many 🙊

Brings back memories this does 😅

Try to keep my new palettes much cleaner due to colour mixing and not wasting paint… we are in a sustainable area now 😅

Today I spent about 5 hours painting. I didn’t record anything
of this piece - it was more about being fully engaged in the process of making that making for the gram or tiktok. So you’ll have to settle for these little crops still a way to go before this is finished…

A looong time I ago before I started full time teaching I began developing some work using blue, white and viridian.

Based on that piece I am starting further pieces in that style.

This is a WIP of the second piece to come from that collection.

Excited to see how these develop. 🙊🙊🙊
